Don’t worry. In Atlanta, there are various options in getting around the city. Like its many tourist spots, Atlanta boasts of its paid and free modes of transportation that can get you around town fast.

One example of free transportation only found at Atlanta is The Buc. The Buc is Buckhead's free shuttle service that has 26 stops. It takes visitors around the Buckhead area, which includes the Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza. Another free ride is the Tech Trolley. This service is sponsored by Georgia Institute of Technology and takes passengers to various places located in the Midtown area.

For paid transportations, there is what Atlantans call MARTA. The fare costs around $1.75 per person. The rail service goes around tourist areas, business districts, Buckhead and the Perimeter Center. MARTA stops at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Atlanta also has a bus service known as The Braves shuttle. This shuttle takes you anywhere from point A to Z of Atlanta. It connects passengers coming from Georgia Aquarium and the Atlanta Zoo.

Then there is another service called The Peach. This service costs around $1.75 per person. If you’re travelling and coming from Lenox Square heading to Georgia State Capitol, this service is more convenient. Featuring specially designed buses, The Peach runs from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. It makes its rounds every 30 minutes, 7 days a week. It also offers service for locations with more frequent stops such as tourist spots, and Atlanta’s most popular and historic locations.

Atlanta, with many of its diversions can get any tourist sidetracked, worse, lost. What if the inevitable happens and you are mesmerized by the sights and sounds of Atlanta? Where does one go from there?

Say you’re shopping for Atlanta homes and because of this you forget entirely where you are. This is not uncommon. Everyone gets lost. If you’re a techie, you can access the internet easily almost anywhere in the city with your phone or your laptop. Atlanta, proud of its advancement in technology, has a government website dedicated to its newcomer. If you’re having a hard time finding a specific establishment, you can log on to the site and let it guide you to your destination. It’s that simple!

Also, the city website has a lot of government links where you can get acquainted on how business is done in Atlanta; examples can be building permits and finding the appropriate Atlanta real estate firm for your house shopping. Since house shopping can be a stressful ordeal, it’s better to canvass your Atlanta real estate partner before checking out that fancy house.

Atlanta real estate can get competitive, so it’s better to find someone trustworthy that can help you choose the housing plan most suitable for you.
