Los Arqueros Golf and Country Club is set in the mountainous region of Benahavis in the Costa Del Sol area of southern Spain. The masterplan was the brainchild of the well established English property developer, Taylow Woodrow whose construction company has been established since 1921. Their vision was to develop an estate that offered great value for money, whilst being situated on a Seve Ballesteros designed golf course. All of the developments within the estate would be of high quality, yet would provide an entry price level that was affordable to the masses.
Their technique and way of releasing each different development to their clients was done in a way previously unseen on the Costa Del Sol. Because they had sufficient funds to build each project without using each purchasers funds for each stage of construction, they often placed new projects on the market that were only eight months away from completion. In alternative developments many developers started taking deposits before a brick was placed down, or in some cases without even having a license.
The pricing of each development was also particularly competitive, making it very popular during the boom times. This meant clients could expect luxuries such as cream marble, Bosch kitchens and high quality windows for very reasonable prices. Amenities within the estate were also of a high caliber, including a restaurant, bar, gymnasium, driving range could all be used by owners on a minimal extra cost.

She continues, "Private vendors are now offering great apartments, in some cases at even less than their original prices. This means that prospective buyers are getting some real bargains. Recently a three bedroom apartment with great qualities and views was sold for under €200k, at this price few other projects offer quite as much."
