Mt Baker is one of the best mountains to snowboard or ski in the world. The ski area is a non-resort based mountain with advanced terrain and typically lots of powder. Because Mt Baker is not resort based there are not accommodations on the mountain. Fortunately the town of Glacier, WA is just a short drive down the hill. In Glacier there are a few options of places to stay for the night or weekend.
Most people that vacation at Mt Baker chose to rent a cabin. There are a couple vacation cabin rental companies that specialize in renting these individually owned cabins. There is also the Mt Baker Bed & Breakfast, and the Snowater Timeshares that can be rented out.

Nearly all of the privately owned cabins are located within the three major communities of Glacier which are Snowline, the Mt Baker Rim, and Glacier Spring. Each of these communities are unique and provide a fun atmosphere for their visitors.
Snowline Community Club
The Snowline Community Club is a gated community located adjacent to the Snowater Timeshares on the north side of the Mt Baker Hwy. Snowline is some of the best amenities available for guests including basketball courts, children’s play area & fishing pond, pickle ball court, softball field, swimming pool, tennis courts, and volleyball/badminton area.
Mt Baker Rim
The Mt Baker Rim is a gated community and has similar amenities to Snowline, however, the Mt Baker Rim Homeowners Association has made the amenities only available to members.
Glacier Springs
Glacier Springs in non-gated community. It is located just west of the town of Glacier and therefore a few minutes further from Mt Baker than the other communities. Glacier Springs does not have any community amenities.
