Depending on whether you are buying a home or selling may have some influence on who you hire as your real estate agent. “Buyer” agents specialize in helping buyers while “Listing” agents focus more on the selling aspect of real estate. Both require extensive knowledge about the real estate market and should be fluent on the process and paperwork however there are subtle differences.
