Saunas are frequently categorized as items of relaxation. And the other reason that they have obtained attention is the role that they are capable of playing when it comes to losing weight.

Interestingly, the modern infrared saunas are way better compared to the classic old steam saunas when it comes to any of the above.

What are the vital angles that you ought to look from while getting your own sauna? Interestingly in each of these cases, an infrared sauna works way better than a conventional steam sauna. The list of aspects follows.

Detoxification: This is the most essential use of a sauna. The better the detoxification capabilities, the better off you would be with your sauna. The detoxification aspect is related to the stress relief aspect described subsequently.

Fat burning: As per reliable research and medical literature, one gram of sweat requires 0.568 kCal to produce. With a good infrared sauna, an average sauna user can produce 500 grams of sweat. A therapeutic session thus is capable or burning around 350 calories. This is equivalent to running a couple of miles or more. You can also eliminate substances known as cellulities using these saunas. Cellulite is generated by water and wastes combined with body fat cells. So sauna fat loss is not "water loss" as perceived by many, it is real weight loss if you use the right kind of infrared saunas.

Pain relief: Using infrared saunas, one can experience reduction and even relief of pain. The infrared energy can penetrate up to 1.5 inches inside our muscle tissues. Interestingly, almost 95% of this energy is absorbed through the skin. As a consequence, an improvement in blood flow is observed. This results in minimization and eradication of painful situations like Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Evidence has been found through studies that with the right kind of infrared sauna, the injury healing is quickened if the heat is applied 24-48 hours post-injury.

Safety: Safety is critical. A sauna with real guarantee of being shock-proof is essential, irrespective of any tall claim made by any stakeholder. A strong recommendation would be to only use a sauna that is sufficiently warranted by authorities. An ETL-certified sauna, for example, is an absolutely safe one to use and is on the top of my list of recommendations. ETL stands for Electrical Testing Laboratories.

No matter what people say or judge, you would want to make sure that you are on track on each of the above aspects - and that is independent of the numerous other benefits that you can get from a sauna. A number of sites advertise such long lists of advantages and benefits but most of them do not really inform you that as a consumer of a sauna what the key aspects to evaluate from your standpoint are.

Go for a carbon-based sauna if you are planning to buy one - I urge carbon-based ones. Even if it means a hundred dollars or two extra, never go for a steam or even a ceramic sauna. I know it may mean a couple of hundred extra bucks, but then, if that is difficult for you then I judge not owning a sauna at all is a better option.
What next: In the following website you shall find why carbon based infrared saunas is the right way to go, rather than steam or ceramic saunas:
