Cleaning or organizing is not useful if you do not do it properly. By following a standard idea of how a master closet should be organized can leave you wondering that you could have made something different. True enough, this may sound a good plan at first, but it will just go back the way you had it at first if you do not arrange it according to how you use the things inside it. Hence, you end up messing up again. So to teach you some helpful tips on how to properly arrange it, go over the rest of this article.

Try to know the worst aspects of your closet and list all of them. There are people who are having a hard time storing their shoes and dirty clothes. They end up leaving them anywhere in their bedroom. How about your suitcases and backpacks that you seldom use, are they properly stored? Or your craft materials, are they neatly arranged? Regardless of what your have in your closet, they should be sorted out according to their uses and orderly arranged inside.

Before you decide on what to do, remove all the things from your closet and sort them outside. You also have to clean them before you put them back. Since you will have to empty the entire closet, you might as well clean them too. You can either paint them or put new wallpapers for a fresher and newer look. Light colors will make the room bigger and cooler in the eyes.

Focus on the problem which is how you arrange the things inside. You need to prioritize the space usage based on what you are mostly pissed off in your closet. Your objective is to eliminate those issues. You can select whether you want to spare extra space for your laundry basket or hamper. Or you might want to place a wall of small holes for all your shoes. You can make them look more organized and minimize the space used. But be sure that you will still have more space for those items that might be coming in the future. You can choose a vertical space, like from the lower part up to the ceiling if you need it, and maximize the use of your door. They can all be great storage for other items.

Make some space for your personal belongings that are not normally found inside the closet but you chose to store them inside. Craft items, old photos, ski equipment, a big piggy bank and anything that is precious to you. As long as you think they are important, then give some space for them.

Organize all the things inside your master closet according to your needs. Make it look very orderly and convenient. You can follow a theme for the design inside. If you want to have a more modern look, then buy some basic and minimalist-type of items. However, if you want to have a vintage look, you can choose for wooden stuff. Regardless of how you want your master closet to look like, it is very important to follow a design that will be very comfortable for you to keep and store your personal stuff. Bear in mind that you will get and use the things inside your closet frequently. So it must be as clean and orderly as possible.
