  1. Wood is the most popular choice for windows. They are beautiful and are more cold and heat resistant. Nevertheless, wood requires periodic maintenance such as staining or painting and should be treated to avoid moisture and cracks.

  2. Vinyl type of window is very popular nowadays among homeowners. The vinyl material provides good insulation and is low in maintenance. They are also beautiful and affordable.

  3. The clad window type gives the beauty of wood inside and a vinyl coating on the exterior frame. Clad material is also maintenance-free.

  4. Glass material for windows lets you choose from double, tripe or even quadruple paned windows. You can choose the distance of the panes and the air between the glasses gives additional insulation for this kind. There is also the Low-E glass with tiny thin layer on the surface and aids in lowering the heat that flows through the glass.

When deciding on the type and material for your windows, it is important that you get the most out of your investment. Windows could last for years and years and quality is important in your choice.
