Whether you are using the closet space alone or sharing it with a partner, it is best to keep organized. A well-arranged master closet helps create a stress-free environment among partners. Aside from that, it helps you visualize your stuff properly because you can see everything. Hence, it would result to better usage of your things. Not only that, it will also improve the look of your interiors. A messy closet is an eye sore and if you have wonderful interior decoration, you could botch up the design if one aspect of the room is pretty messy.

If you want to organize your master closet, you need to avoid stuffing your clothes. The most important thing is to know what to fold, what to hang and what to place on shelves and drawers. Most people like to stuff their things after deciding not to wear the clothes. Some also just stuff them to simply hide them away. But that should not be the case. You should properly categorize your clothes so that you will know what to do with them. For example, if you have dresses with finer materials, for sure you won't feel comfortable having them folded. You'd rather have them hanged and protected. This goes the same for your suits. One you have ironed them, you would never want to have them lying around with other of your folded clothes.

If you are a woman and you love buying shoes, install special shelves in your closet. This allows you to properly arrange your shoes. Having a good shelf to place your shoes in could also make it last longer.

So you have your master closet properly divided. With the use of shelves and drawers, it is very possible to give your clothing proper placement. But if you have too much stuff, it is possible that not everything would fit in your closet. And the organizing part would be hard to do because you will end up stuffing your things just to accommodate them. What's the best thing to do? This time, you need to de-clutter your closet.

De-cluttering should be the first step to organizing your master closet. The purpose of doing this is to segregate the needed from the unneeded. This way, you can make space for the stuff that usually use.

When you have de-cluttered your stuff, you can now determine where to position them. For example, when you have seasonal clothes, you do not necessarily have to take them out from the closet. What you can do is to put them in a vacuum-sealed plastic and put them on the topmost shelf of your closet. This way, you can make the in-season clothes more accessible.

Organizing a master closet should not be difficult. Take these tips in your quest for organizing and you will simply enjoy your things more often. You would also have fewer problems every time you try to dress up or change clothes because this time, your choices are very much visible.
