After all is said and done. Your wine cellar could be a place of refuge. A place that you can go to and relax and immerse yourself in a thing of beauty. And when it's built right , it can be a entertaining and charming feature of your home. Here you can let your wines mature to a great taste. Have those wines handy for all those special occasions. This is also a place that you can invite your friends and family to share those great wines with.
And when your friends enter your wine cellar......you really want to hear those great words when they look at your new wine cellar....WOW...Those are the words I always want to hear from my customers. The second words are just as great..wow I never thought it would be this beautiful.
So as I have said before. When choosing your builder for that new wine cellar, don't let your wine cellar be built by just anyone. Be very certain that your wine cellar is not the first one that they have ever built. Much less the first wine cellar they have ever seen. When it is all said and done. Your wine cellar builder needs to be know about cooling, humidity, insulation, floors, bottle size.
Yes I said bottle size!!!! They need to know about racking, not just one kind, but what would be right for you. Did you want stained racking, unfinished racking, or are you interested in furniture style racking. The cost can go from a little to holy smoke, you are going to spend that much!! Just remember, this is your wine cellar and let it get designed the way you want too. They also need to know about lighting. Indirect lighting, LED lighting. There is a lot to think about.
