Spiraca can be seen planted in old homes. They can still be purchased in nursery trades. The clusters of small flowers are delightful to see especially during the springtime.
The Viburnum also known as Snowball Bush looks like the larger version of Spiraca. This plant is rare in the Southern part of the States. It simply gets burn by the heat of the sun. It is best raised under a tree or a shade to make it grow better.
Upright Rosemary is a terrific plant to have planted in your yard. There is also the prostrated Rosemary that cascades down, if you choose that. It blooms well in summer and the flowers are fragrant appealing to bees in your yard. If you have a bee allergy, however, and still prefer to have this in your yard, it is better grown distant from the walkway or gateway. It survives the heat so if you live in the Southern part of the States, Upright Rosemary is highly recommended.
The Indian Hawthorn has several different types. All of which grows spectacular flowers that blossom for more than a month or so. The dwarf variety of this plant appears well with the other flowering plants. When the flowers are pollinated, they will have purple or dark blue berries and just like the Upright Rosemary, they are both evergreen.
If you are searching for a different shade of plant for your yard Cassia or better known as Nemophila is what you want. They best show their floral scene in winter months of January and February until March. As the season turns to the end of spring beginning with summer, it will begin to shred its flowers and will remain its foliage. This plant is very good to have in your hard for the reason that it does not need a lot of water making it ideal to add in your landscape right in your yard. The color of Cassia makes it unique from other plants. The yellow flowers can lighten up anybody's day.
A nice standby shrub to have around is the Pyracantha or firethorn. There are a variety of this shrub so make a research on what among the variety you think best suits your condition to achieve the look you want.
