If painting the entire home is too costly then focus on the areas that a buyer’s eye might catch upon entering the home. Entry ways, stair walls where hands may have come in contact with and any other areas where pedestrian traffic has dirties the walls.
Another idea for individuals who are infirm and cannot perform any of the tasks needed to prepare the home for sale is to seek assistance through a local church service or a volunteer group that is associated with specific illnesses; like the American Cancer Society. There are many different groups who are more than willing to assist people in need.
