How Does The Federal Government Protect Consumers?

TILA, additionally known as the Truth in Lending Act was put into American law in 1968. TILA, for instance, demands the disclosure of the creditor's identity, the amount that was actually lent, the APR on the line of credit and any finance fees that apply.
