PGA tour organizers have confirmed that the Mayakoba Golf Classic will take place from February 25th to March 1st at the El Camaleon golf club at the Mayakoba resort near Playa Del Carmen in Mexico.
The Mayakoba Golf Classic forms part of the tour, which started on January 8th with the Mercedes-Benz Championship in Hawaii and with the next championship being the FBR Open, in Scottsdale, Arizona, starting tomorrow.
Dubbed the “New Green Paradise” by some, Playa Del Carmen and the Riviera Maya are fast becoming the discerning golfer’s favorite locations in Mexico. A plethora of world-class courses and country clubs have sprung up in the last decade and a good number more will open their fairways soon.
This means that the golf real estate in the area continues to appreciate at a solid rate and also has a positive knock-on effect to other vacation property prices.
