Kerosene or paraffin types are the ones used to generate supplemental heat especially needed in your patios or porches. It is however a source of carbon monoxide because of the chemical used for its operation. Natural gas on the other hand uses LPG to function and is a common heater used for larger venues outside your house. You need to attach it to a gas supply to operate and generate heat.
