First and final foreclosure activity went up in Massachusetts during the first four months of 2010, and more radically during April. Is this backlog, or new cases?
Repossession houses are still rising in number in Lafayette, Indiana due to the preponderance of ARMs and the rise in unemployment. Foreclosure filings in the area rose by over 50 percent from 2004 to 2009.
Repossessed homes for sale in Palm Beach, Florida are still surging as foreclosure filings continue to increase in the area. Nearly 4,500 households in Palm Beach County were hit with foreclosure filings in February this year, a sharp jump of 69 percent from February 2009.
Foreclosed listing pace has been slowing down in the San Fernando Valley in California. In January this year, default notices and completed foreclosures dropped both from December 2009 and January 2009.
