Linoleum is made from linseed oil, wood flour, and cork dust with mineral pigments all applied to a fabric background. While for years linoleum was considered out of fashion, it has made quite a comeback in recent years. Linoleum is now available in a broad spectrum of colors and in tiles as well as rolls.
Today there is no shortage of choices when it comes to selecting the perfect material for your home floors. Traditionally concrete has been used for sub floors and exterior uses only. This is due in part to its durability and cost effectiveness. Now we are starting to see amazing manipulations of this traditional material into true works of art.
