Do some research into Realtors in your area and interview a few to see if you would work well together before hiring a buyer’s agent. Allow the Realtor to recommend other nearby areas that they think you should look at as well; it’s entirely possible that your Realtor might know about areas that will fulfill your needs that you don’t know about.
